my kids love this rug and it's very educational, but, it's not very comfy. it's not at all thick and it's quite hard, even with the extra thick rug pad. it's colorful and fun, just not comfortable to sit on on hard wood floors.

So far it has worked perfectly. It has really "made" the playroom. I was worried about our Golden Retriever's hair becoming embedded in the rug but it has vacuumed away easily. Our daughter loves it.
