We were not sure which style/color to get, so checked online to see where the closest dealer was. Colonial Mills main office turned out to be about an hour's drive from here, so we visited them. We were extremely impressed by the quality of the rugs they produce there. When looking at the rugs I realized that the colors I was seeing on my monitor were not true. For instance the color I ended up purchasing (through this web site) - Midnight Java loks red, yellow and black on my monitor (not a combination we would have chosen). In fact it is a combination of dark brown and pale beige with bits of deep rose, royal blue, and green. Not a yellow or black in it. I would strongly recommend calling the toll free number on this site to have someone describe the colors. We are very pleased with our purchase and will probably be purchasing more Colonial Mills rugs in the future.

I am very happy with the stair treads and runner. However, there was not enough double sided backing material to get the job done. I had to go out and buy more from our local Home Depot to finish the job.

Easy to install. The installation stripping is essential on any hard flooring. It was a lifesaver for us, and our dogs. They add to the visual appeal of our wood floors and stairs. The Midnight Java colors are good, but the image online shows more gold/yellow than actual product.

Our aging yellow Labrador retriever climbs the stairs with ease and confidence now that the braided stair treads have been added. It is also more comfortable for us humans when we climb the stairs in bare or stockinged feet.
