A classic tambour, finished in Glen Arbor cherry on select hardwoods, and genuine olive ash burl veneers give the Chaucer Mantel Clock that extra touch of grace. Featuring a carved sloping scroll design that cradles the dial and adds a sleek yet elegant shape, this beautiful mantle clock is supported by polished brass bun feet. A white dial with large Arabic numerals is protected by a convex glass crystal lens. The New Kieninger quartz battery-operated movement offers the popular Westminster chime and one of Beethoven’s greatest masterpieces from his 9th Symphony (Ode to Joy), played progressively each quarter hour. A separate hour strike counts the time, with a selectable auto night-silence feature.
