Vantage Industries, an Atlanta, Georgia company, was acquired by Leggett and Platt in 1994. The Coated Fabrics Division was formed as a result of the acquisition of Sunbelt Products in 1995.
The basic products manufactured are a PVC coated polyester substrate which is used in a variety of commercial and residential applications, and an EVA coated substrate used as rug pad for rug over carpet applications.
Extensive research and development projects have generated successful new products and product applications. As a result, Vantage currently markets directly to retailers and distributors, a much broader variety of coated fabric products than ever before. Examples of products produced by Vantage include: shelf liners, bath mats, shower mats, and sink mats, place mats, transportation damage prevention mats, yoga and physical therapy mats, non-slip poster boards and camping mats, among others.

It will probably stain the linoleum tiles that it covers and it will not last beyond 1-2 years. I don't think it is washable. I had ordered a 3x5 rug and after several extensions on the item availability CSN staff offered a discounted 5x8 version of the same rug. However, the 3x5 rug pad had already been delivered and is a far better quality. Had I known that, I would have ordered the same type rug pad for the 5x8 rug. I am truly disappointed with the sub-standard quality of the 5x8 rug pad and its resulting flaws in use. Thanks for allowing me to comment, and other than the sale of this particular item, I was very satisfied with CSN sales staff.

I bought two large rugs from [@] for my bedroom and used the pads underneath to prevent slippage since the rugs are on hardwood floors. Great product. Does what it says it does -- keeps rug in place, doesn't harm hardwood floors.

We thought we were getting a 6ft by 9ft pad but in realty it was less by several inches which was disappointing. The item was advertized in feet but actual product when received was in inches. To avoid any confusion it should be advertized in inches so the consumer is fully aware of the products actual size. [...]

The rug brace is an essential for keeping your area rug in place on hardwood floors. Without it, area rugs slip and move. With the 'brace' the rug consistently stays put until I move it intentionally (for cleaning purposes).

This rug gripper is lightweight, but sturdy in gripping. It is worth its weight and holds a fairly heavy woven rug in place with no slippage. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat!

Fantastic hold! I have it under a 3 x 5 rug on a hardwood floor. Since I put that rug pad down, that rug hasn't moved! It's in a high traffic area too! Worth every penny!
