Vantage Industries, an Atlanta, Georgia company, was acquired by Leggett and Platt in 1994. The Coated Fabrics Division was formed as a result of the acquisition of Sunbelt Products in 1995.
The basic products manufactured are a PVC coated polyester substrate which is used in a variety of commercial and residential applications, and an EVA coated substrate used as rug pad for rug over carpet applications.
Extensive research and development projects have generated successful new products and product applications. As a result, Vantage currently markets directly to retailers and distributors, a much broader variety of coated fabric products than ever before. Examples of products produced by Vantage include: shelf liners, bath mats, shower mats, and sink mats, place mats, transportation damage prevention mats, yoga and physical therapy mats, non-slip poster boards and camping mats, among others.

Not clear when ordering what size pad needs to be for a given rug size. We ordered rectangular pads for oval rugs and went a size smaller on the pads. Works okay and we only needed to trim one a little bit.

We just had new laminate flooring done by a professional company. We had ordered braided rugs from them also. The pads they provided us with were the mesh kind and my rugs slide all over the place. The only rug that doesn't slide is the runner i bought later with the wonder grip rug pad.

It needed to lay flat for a while to get wrinkles out. I now need to trim it a bit so it does not show, but better to be too big than too small. Using it in kitchen under an all-weather rug over a rubber floor

I purchased this rug pad because it was supposed to work great over carpet. Unfortunately I spent a lot of money on a product that does not work. I followed the manufacturers instructions and placed the pad on the carpet as directed. I then placed the area rug on the pad. The area rug constantly moves off of the pad. I must make sure to adjust it at least once a day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PAD!!!!!. It does not work and was a very expensive mistake for me since I purchase two of them.

Both sides of the pad should be equally slip-resistant (slightly sticky). The pad stays firmly on the floor, but the rug tends to slip& rides on top of it. Overall a pretty good product and without it the rug would slip more on bare floors but it can be improved by adding sticky coating on the other (rug) side of the pad.

The product was delivered very fast.. it is laid in a very busy traffic area in my kitchen under a braided rug purchased from this company also and it has not moved an inch even when two dogs fly through and slide. It is really great!!
