I was very excited about receiving this rug for my daughter's designer nursery, however.... this rug, though beautiful, is VERY MUCH PASTEL. What's more- the butterflies, bumble bee and two of the flowers' innermost colors are STARK WHITE, not the robinsegg or aqua blue it appears to be in the photo; and the pink squares are not a deep shade of pink, but a lighter version of Pepto Bismol. If the colors in real life were as dark and rich as they appeared in the photo, I'd have no problem at all keeping it, as it is a beautiful rug for a girl's room/nursery--but only IF YOU LOVE PASTEL COLORS!
